The Need Elevate Orphan is aiding:

In Ethiopia, over 4.5 million orphans—many affected by
AIDS and civil war—face bleak futures in overcrowded,
underfunded orphanages that neglect their emotional,
psychological, and spiritual needs. We aim to break the
orphanage mold by creating real, loving families that offer
each child hope and belonging. Ethiopia provides a unique
opportunity for mission-minded Christians to directly serve
widows and orphans in a truly biblical manner..

Elevate Orphan's Program:

Forever Families:
• Family Homes: Each home is led by Christian women,
vetted by a local church, who care for 4-7 children.
Education and Development:
• Quality Education: Every child receives high-quality,
private Christian education.
• Comprehensive Support: Access to social workers,
psychologists, tutors, and a community learning center
with a library and computer lab.
• Raised to know Christ
Lifelong Support:
We support our children to become independent members,
and leaders, of society, while maintaining lifelong connections
with their Forever Family.

Vision for the future:

We strive to provide each child with a loving Forever Family
that reflects Christ’s love. Our goals:
• Expand Forever Families: Rescue more children by
increasing the number of homes.
• Foster Future Leaders: Prepare our children to become
godly leaders who will shape a better Ethiopia.

Our Unique Approach:

Biblically Rooted & Locally Led:
• Biblical Mandate: Rooted in James 1:27, we create
lasting family units by pairing orphans with qualified
widows who become their mothers and aunts.
• Local Leadership: Managed entirely by native
Ethiopians, ensuring cultural sensitivity, sustainability,
and strong collaboration with local government. Strong
partnerships with the Ethiopian government allow us to
navigate the orphan care system effectively.
“Love Them As Our Own”:
We adopt children from government orphanages into
their Forever Families and support them through life’s
milestones—including private Christian education and
higher learning—while nurturing their spiritual growth.

Impact and Accomplishments:

• Transformed Lives: 80 children have been placed into
10 Forever Families.
• Educational Success: Many are pursuing higher
education or vocational training, breaking the cycle of
poverty.

Funding Needs:

Our annual operating budget is around $500,000, covering
all expenses for children and widows, staff salaries,
programs, and facility maintenance.
